As Muslims, the world over, observe this year’s Sallah celebration, the Nasarawa State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Othman Bala Adam, has congratulated the Muslim ummah in Nasarawa State and around the world on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.
In his Sallah message, the Commissioner, said, “I bring my warmest greetings to all Muslim Ummah in Nasarawa State and Nigeria in general during this season of Eid-el-Fitir.
“Alhamdullilah for the successful completion of one of the pillars of Islam.
“This is a season to remember the good things Allah has done in our lives, despite obvious challenges.”
He called on Muslims to imbibe virtues such as feeding the needy and be their brother’s keepers, stressing that Muslims should continue to pray for the peace and prosperity of Nasarawa State and Nigeria, especially in a period like this.
The former State lawmaker also urged them to be of good character and be exemplary, taking after the Holy Prophet(SAW) and his teachings.
