It was indeed a day filled with activities for the Super Eagles Supporters Club as members used the opportunity to relax and restrategise ahead of of the Round of 16 match between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia.
From interviews with Journalists, to meetings and fun activities amongst members.
The highlight of the day is the welcoming of new members as President of SESC, Prince Vincent Okumagba and his Excos, received Chairman, Plateau United Supporters Club,Umar Shehu and seven other members from rival supporters club into the Super Eagles Supporters Club fold as fourteen more is expected tomorrow.
Prince Okumagba on receiving the new members said the club is willing to accept anyone who wants to join even as he charged them to be worthy ambassadors.
” We want to welcome you to our club, we will accept any Nigerian who wants to join.
We have sets of rule which you will abide to, after now, I will give you our constitution but above all what we require of you is good character, somebody that will represent us well even when we are not there.
If you noticed, I just came a few days ago, the club has been running without me because we have a good structure, he concluded”.
The Super Eagles Supporters Club is now looking forward to Sunday, as plans are already on top gear to cheer the Super Eagles to victory in Garoua.
