Team Imo Football female side has progressed to the semi final of the Delta 2022 National Sports Festival after they pipped Team Bayelsa 1-0 in the last group game.
It was a sweet victory to Team Imo who started football event with a draw against Edo State.
The semi final tie holds today at the Austin Okocha Stadium, Ogwashi-Uku.
Similarly, Imo Handball Male team has equally cruised into the quarter final of the Handball event by flooring Adamawa Team 27 – 20 points in a game played at Ogwashi- Uku.
In another development, Imo female Hockey team defeated Plateau State 2-0 to edge closer to the medal’s zone.
