Tsemba Wummen League Matchday 3 Wrap: Jr Sporting, Relentless turn heads in U14; Mees Palace, Jeddy Academy, maul opponents in U16

Relentless Football Academy, Jr Sporting Boys, Vet Glory and Mees Palace Football Academy were among the winners in the Matchday three of the Under 14 Tsemba Wummen League played in Jos last weekend.

Mees Palace Football Academy were made to work harder before beating hardfighting Top Free Academy 3-2. Israel Davou and Destiny Lar put MPFA in the driver’s seat with two early goals in the third and 12th minutes but Top Free Academy fought back gamely and equalised through the goals of Friday Bala and Soja Samuel (own goal) in the 18th and 51st minutes. The ovation that greeted the Top Free equalising goal had hardly settled when Longji Job struck in the 55th minute for MPFA to put the game beyond the reach of their adversary.

In some other selected results Jr Sporting Boys thrashed Jazzy Stars 3-0 while Relentless Football Academy pummeled Ceemonie SA 8-0 in a one sided affair. Gangere Youths and Super Stars also battled to a 3-3 draw.

In the Under 16 category of the Tsemba Wummen League played last weekend also, Samba Boys showed class in their 3-1 victory over Royal Stars while Mees Palace Football Academy tamed SJC Lions 4-1 with Kelvin Adeyemo at the double for the MPFA.

In the other selected results Jeddy Academy obliterated Mabo Young Stars 5-0; Tin City FA thrashed CF Bwin 4-1 while Rahbam FA defeated Jazzy Stars 3-1.
