Super Eagles midfielder, Joe Aribo is to face a late fitness test before a decision is made on his availability or otherwise ahead of Rangers’ today’s Scottish Cup quarter-final tie against Dundee FC.

Rangers manager, Giovanni van Brockhurst told journalists ahead of Gers’ trip to Kilmac Stadium at Dens Park that Aribo who was substituted in the 75th minute was replaced because of a knock he received in their Europa League Round of 16 3-0 home success over Red Star Belgrade.

The young coach opined that the Nigerian and his teammate, John Lundstram who played the entire 90 minutes are in a race against time to have any involvement in the game.

“Physically it was a tough game for us. We came in after the game with some concerns for John Lundstram who had a knee complaint. Aribo was replaced too and both of them are to be assessed today (yesterday) and on Sunday (today) to see if they will be involved on Sunday,” van Brockhurst stated.

“We have a big squad. Eventually, we will see who is available for Sunday. It is then I will decide those for the game.”

Aribo has been involved in 43 games with seven goals and eight assists in all competitions.
