The Honourable Minister of Communications and Digital Economy Mallam Ali Isa Pantami Ph.D, Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) 1st Vice President Barr. Seyi Akinwumi and NFF Chairman of Chairmen Alh. Ibrahim Musa Gusau are among dignitaries to grace the Gombe State Football Association Award on Saturday, July 3, 2021.
The Speaker, Gombe State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Abubakar M. Luggerewo alongside the Hon. Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Mallam Ali Isa Pantami Ph.D will be on ground as His Excellency Mohammadu Inuwa Yahaya, the Executive Governor of Gombe will be decorated with Distinguished Leadership Award.
His Excellency has over the last two years in office distinguished himself as a leader with the interest of his people at heart across all strata. Little wonder the state stands out in the entire region in infrastructural development.
The dignitaries to be led by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) 1st Vice President, Barrister Seyi Akinwumi will be guest of His Excellency in company of the Gombe State House of Assembly Speaker as they visit and inspect various projects of the Inuwa Yahaya led government across the state.
The many achievements of the His Excellency in the area of sports is no doubt evident for everyone to see in the achievement of the Gombe United Football Club so far in the Nigeria National League. The state performance with a gold medal in the last National Sports Festival also show that the efforts of His Excellency in developing and promoting sports in the state is already yielding the desired result.
