Nmecha, Amuzu, hit bulls eye in Anderlecht big win ; Akpoguma’s Hoffenheim bag away victory

The duo of Saturday Erimuya and Bobby Adekanye were rooted to the substitute bench as Cadiz drew 2-2 at home to Levante in a SPANISH LA LIGA tie. The newly-promoted Cadiz are eighth on the log with 24 points from 19 games.

In BELGIUM, Anderlecht pummeled Sporting Charleroi 3-0 with the three Nigerian in Anderlecht helping to secure the important win. Lukas Nmecha put the former Belgian League champions in the lead from the penalty spot in the 23rd minute while Francis Amuzu notched the third goal in the 81st minute. Paul Mukairu was involved for 82 minutes while Nmecha was substituted in the 71st minute. Amuzu played all minutes of the game too.

Anderlecht have now moved to within three points of second-placed Genk with 35 points from 22 games but they have played a game more.

In the GERMAN BUNDESLIGA, Hoffenheim thrashed Hertha Berlin 3-0 even without their star defender, Kevin Akpoguma who is still out injured. Hoffenheim improved to 11th on the log with 19 points from 17 matches.
