New Year: ‘Be Steadfast in 2021’ -SESC President tells Nigerians

The President of the Super Eagles Supporters Club, Prince Vincent Okumagba has felicitated with Nigerians in the country and the diaspora as they successfully crossed into the new yearrr and he has also urged them to remain steadfast and pray for the end of Covid-19 in the country as the virus continues to ravage the whole world.

“As we usher in 2021, there is every reason to celebrate this gift of a new Year and to thank God Almighty not only for preserving us to see this new year, but more importantly for His mercy and the achievements we recorded in 2020 despite the pandemic,” he began in a press statement from the Association.

“With the effort of the National Centre for Disease Control, (NCDC) the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) we were able to scale through the year.

“I will enjoin everyone to remain steadfast, even as we remain alert and do the needful to prevent the spread of Covid-19, with our collective effort I believe 2021 will bring an end to the virus.

“I pray that God should heal the hearts of families who have lost loved ones to the disease.

“I wish every Nigerian a prosperous Year 2021 and I do pray that every family shall find warmth, love, and light to guide your path to a positive destination,” he concluded.
