.Moses missing in Spartak Moscow away draw
CSKA Moscow midfielder, Chidera Ejuke has scored his second league goal of the season.
The ex-Heerenveen player notched the goal in their 2-0 home win over FK Akhmat yesterday and the result has lifted them to the fifth position with nine points from five games.
Vladislav Yakovlav put CSKA Moscow in the lead in the 71st minute before Ejuke netted the ‘insurance’ goal in the 75th minute. It was the Nigerian fifth game of the season.
Ejuke was available for 88 minutes before he was substituted.
Also in another game in the Russian Premier League, Victor Moses could not recover from the injury that he copped from their game with Nizhny Novgorod on August 7th. He was substituted in the 36th minute of the encounter.
The 2013 AFCON winner was conspicuously missing in CSKA Moscow’s 1-1 draw with Arsenal Tula yesterday and has only played three games this season before the injury.
